Jono is a former Deputy Secretary in the NSW Government Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, with over 20 years experience across diverse government portfolios. His experience spans across grants delivery and governance, regional and economic development, disaster recovery programs, justice and youth services, Indigenous policy, local government reform and regional governance.
Known for managing projects, programs and people with strategic nous, energy and purpose, Jono has extensive experience providing high-level strategic advice and navigating political environments with integrity and adaptability.
Jono is married to Anna and has 3 pretty darn great kids - Daphne, George and Josie.

- $3.3 billion NSW Regional Growth Fund, funding over 3,000 projects.
- $15 million Aboriginal Partnerships Program
- $55 million NSW Government Whole-of-Government Grants Administration System
- Key disaster recovery programs including the $200 million Infrastructure Betterment fund, $540 million Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund and $170 million Drought Stimulus Package
- Evaluation, community and council consultation and engagement for the review and relaunch of $560 million Resources for Regions funding program
- Illawarra-Shoalhaven Youth Employment Action Plan
